Demonstration of lace

The Kununurra Lace Group made up a roster of members to 'man' a working demonstation of bobbin lace for the time the Pavilion was open to the general public. It was a wonderful success in drawing attention to lace making in general and bobbin lace making in particular. The normal "is that tatting'? question was only asked about 3 times! Our handout was given to interested people and I believe we will do the same again next year. Hopefully with our new members also taking part.

Note the camera tripod I am using as a pillow stand! The flyer we used as a handout can be downloaded as a PDF file here.	Even the gentlemen are facinated by the flying bobbins. The discussion went along the lines of - see I only use 4 bobbins at a time, the rest are used in sequence, not all at once.
