The Danish Heart Basket contains a tiny sachet of locally grown lavender. The pattern is from Lene Bjorn's 24 Hearts in Bobbin Lace. The thread used is DMC Broder Machine #30 in red and white.

I used different threads, all in yellow or gold: Saba cotton; MEZ crochet thread No 80; Madeira Decora; madeira Mettalic; Schappe silk. but it's also possible to use only one or two different threads I take a grid of 2,5 mm for both squares but it would be also nice to make one bigger than the other.

The lace on my card is a favourite bookmark pattern from a booklet of Joan Kelly bookmarks and I've made it in Madeira 50 with a metallic gimp. You should be able to carefully extract the bookmark from the card after Christmas so that you can use it. That makes it a card and a gift!
